BREAKING: Two cases in Ogbomoso as total jumps to 2,170 in Nigeria
Nigeria Centre For Disease Control, NCDC, has announced that the country has recorded another 238 confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19).
This brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country to 2170, Mouthpiece NGR reports.

NCDC made this known via its Twitter handle on Friday evening. it also said that 92 of the new infections were recorded in Kano while six cases were recorded in Oyo state.
This figure however faulted the claims of Oyo state Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde who announced that the state has recorded 8 new cases.

Makinde via his twitter handle on Friday at exactly 11:38 disclosed that, “another eight tests came back positively today”.

He said two out of the patients were residents of Ogbomoso while the six other people are Togolese nationals.
