BOMBSHELL! Former Minister, Prisons Boss In Fresh Corruption Case

Tongues are wagging among members of the NPS cooperative society and are calling on the Comptroller General of Prison Jafaru Ahmed, the anti graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, as well as police to quickly investigate the former minister of interior, Abudlrahman Dambazzau, and the prisons boss, Jafaaru Ahmed for legalization of corruption in Nigerian prisons service.

An insider in the service told Mouthpiece NG on Sunday that the former Minister of Interior and the controller general of Nigerian prison service had connived together to make the system uncomfortable for the officers and men in the service which has led to demoralization on the part of the staff and the ministry of Interior entirely.
The source also disclosed that Jafaru ahmed has attained the mandatory 35 years in service of the Nigeria prison services after several manipulations of his age aided by the minister.
Another source in a statement made available to Mouthpiece NG alleged that the controller general is threatening officers fighting for their various right in the department which the CGPS denied them.
The statement read: “It has come to the notice of the staff that the CGPS is threatening the officers that were fighting for their various right in the department which the CGPS denied them, Mr. Jafaaru which is an embodiment of several corruption cases, starting from age falsification, mismanagement of prisco fund, kangaroo extension and several alleged misconduct on the part of cgps.
“The incoming minister of interior should abstain from joining the cgps in corrupt act which is well known for.
“EFCC are also challenged to do the needful concerning several fraud cases against the CGPS of Nigerian prison service in order to make president buhari achieve his anti corruption crusade.
“Finally, the controller general of prisons has started pressurising all the Managers of prisons micro finance bank to release some certain huge amount of money close a billion naira to him to welcome the new minister of interior for him to retain the seat of the CGPS and not to expose him of all his corrupt act.”
Jafaru, an indigene of Kebbi state and a graduate of history is expected to retire from service on attainment of the mandatory 35 years in service or 60 years of age.”
Mouthpiece NG recall CGP jafaru was appointed by President Buhari on May, 2016, to succeed Dr. peter Ekpendu, who retired from the Nigeria prison service in May 2016.
Our source disclose that: The controller general of Nigeria prisons services did not in anyway deserve tenure elongation due to his several atrocities he has committed such as age falsification, among others which is contrary to civil service rule and its a laudible offence in our great nation.
“Ja’afaru was supposed to retire in July 2017, until sometimes in 2015, shortly before his appointment as CGP, he altered his date of birth from July 1957 to July 1959, in clear breach of the public service rules and regulations.”
“The record in the NPS nominal roll showed that Ja’afaru altered his date of birth from July 21, 1957, to July 21, 1959, thereby extending his retirement age by two years. His profile published in the 2010 edition of Advanced Command Course II booklet also confirmed July 21, 1957, as his original date of birth before it secretly altered.”
