Nigerian popular artist, David adeleke Davido has created a new Instagram page tagged “Operation Oyetola Must Go’ to frustrate the embattled governor in Osun state.
Davido wrote; ‘Follow my new page ! @operationoyetolamustgo !! Thank You’
He appealed to his fans to follow the new page.
Mouthpiece NG recalls that few days ago, the artist who’s a nephew to the PDP governorship candidate in Osun state, Ademola Adeleke, had urged Governor Oyetola to accept his tribunal defeat.
The Osun State Election Tribunal on March 22 declared Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the duly-elected governor of the state.
The tribunal upheld that the re-run election conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, was unconstitutional, directing INEC to withdraw the Certificate of Return earlier issued to Governor Oyetola.
The counsel to INEC, Mr Yusuf Ali, SAN, however, argued that the decision of the lower tribunal was made in error.
Ali submitted that the commission failed to conduct proper accreditation and deliberately voided votes to favour Oyetola was a figment of imagination.
