BREAKING: Two Faculty To Be Established In LAUTECH
The authority of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) is planning on establishing two faculty in the institution.
Mouthpiece NG reported earlier that the Vice chancellor received the deputy governor of Osun state, Mr Benedict Alabi on Tuesday, when he paid an unscheduled visit to the University’s College of Health Sciences, Osogbo.
The institution is proposing Faculty of Medical Information and Medical Rehabilitation and physiotherapy.
Sources told Mouthpiece NG that there is already a proposal on the establishment of the two-faculty and will be taken to senate for ratification.
A staff who preferred to be anonymous said the school can establish the two faculties once there’s resources on ground.
“What the school only needs is funds to be diverted for the project.”
The VC also needs to understand the body language of the two government before embarking on what may stir tension in the university system, “he said.
