Delta Corps Members Re-assures The hope Of Young Orphans

National Youth Corpers of Vanguard Community Development Service group of the National Youth Service Corps, Warri South Local Government, Delta State on Friday, visited an Orphanage Home inside Word of Life Bible Church to enliven hope and ignite joy in kids who have at one time or the other been ravaged by life’s unpleasant circumstances. 

The group in a statement signed by its president, Samuel Abidoye, and a copy sent to Mouthpiece NG, explained that the outreach was made possible by the unrelenting efforts of few concerned corps member who saw it needful to minister peace unto depressed souls.

According to the statement, the president raised eyebrows as he touched the core of the Children’s heart in his bid to make them see a future full of light and life. 

“Being the one who inspired this beautiful idea as a founder of an NGO that is about a similar assignment, he was able to draw out life stories of orphans he has been opportune to meet prior his coming for NYSC. He engaged their mind in deep realities, in response were noddings in agreement to all that opened them up. 

The General Secretary of the group, Peter Dechiege in his own contribution talked about the uniqueness of the kids by escalating truths from the Scripture about the topic of Hope and Tomorrow. 

“Being a Christian establishment,  he encouraged the guardians of the Children and other functionaries, urging them to keep up the good work as their awesome rewards await them in the Kingdom. He picked out certain issues surrounding children in this generation and did justice in properly sensitising them about each.

The group in an interactive segment with the children after the lectures also gave opportunity for one on one counseling, there were lots that were heard and thought during the section. 

“It was an amazing time with young orphans, Samuel said. 

Appreciating the group, “the coordinator of the Orphans’ Home poured out her heartfelt appreciations which came with lots of heartfelt prayers and declarations. 

“She commended the visit as being one of its kind among the many visitations they’ve been receiving from groups like the Vanguard CDS group. 

“She encouraged the youth corps members by telling them lots about her own self while she was in their age group. 

“There were wild expressions as the corps members were also blessed in return with wealth of wisdom.
