Breaking: Security Operatives Blocks Entrance Of National Assembly Complex

The security agencies including the Nigeria Police and DSS have blocked the main entrance to the National Assembly.

The security officials barricaded the entrance with their patrol vans, this has led to  the restricted access at the gate.

Members of the parliamentary staff of the National Assembly ( PASSAN) were not allowed into the complex. 

Mouthpieceng reliably gathered that security operatives are searching people including journalists and construction workers.

The leadership of the National Assembly has reiterated that this is done to enable members of the staff their duties on hindered. 

“It was reported that at a meeting of the joint leadership of the two chambers in which the resolution was passed. 

PASSANS members are determined to grant activities of the National Assembly in protest of what they tagged inhumane working condition. 

Earlier protest was held two weeks ago where the staff demanded for increase salaries, allowances, dividends and better working conditions among other things Whicj include- A payment of 28% increment in salary as contained in the 2018 budget.
