Hon. Lydia Bankole Extols Governor Seyi Makinde’s Achievements on His 100 Days in Office

The Political Head / Administrator of Oriire South Local Council Development Area, Hon. Lydia Bankole, has showered encomiums on Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his 100 days in office in Omitutun 2.0.

In a statement obtained by MOUTHPIECE NGR on Wednesday, Mrs. Bankole lauded Governor Makinde’s numerous developmental initiatives and progressive agendas, particularly highlighting the recent Sustainable Action for Economic Recovery (SAfER) program aimed at alleviating the impact of prevailing economic challenges in the country.

Governor Seyi Makinde, just a few weeks into his second term in office, demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the welfare of Oyo State residents by establishing the SAfER committee. This committee was tasked with implementing a range of measures to counteract the adverse economic consequences stemming from the removal of fuel subsidy.

In her congratulatory message, Hon. Lydia Bankole expressed her heartfelt congratulations to Governor Seyi Makinde on the occasion of his 100 days in office during his second term. 

She lauded his SAfER agenda, which includes essential initiatives such as the procurement of buses to enhance transportation, food security palliatives to combat hunger, and grants aimed at empowering farmers and small-scale businesses within the state.

“The SAfER program, initiated by Governor Makinde, is a clear demonstration of his commitment to the welfare and economic well-being of Oyo State residents. Under his leadership, Oyo State has seen  series of transformative policies and actions that prioritize the needs and aspirations of the people.

“As Governor Makinde’s second term progresses, the expectations for continued development and prosperity in Oyo State remain high, and I believe that he would continue to remain dedicated to improving the lives of the state’s citizens.”-  She noted.
