Reps elect, SMATO lauds Makinde over inauguration of 2nd term

The Member-Elect, House of Representatives, Ogooluwa/Surulere Fed Constituency, Hon. Ojo Sunday Makanjuola (SMATO) has congratulated Gov. Seyi Makinde and his deputy, Barr. Bayo Lawal, on their inauguration for second term on Monday.

In a statement by his Publicity Secretary, in Ogbomoso on Monday, SMATO said that Makinde’s emergence for another term in office was not only epoch-making but also best fit for purpose.

He lauded Makinde for his Omititun 2.0 which captured Sustainability vision and according to him, will help in the industrialisation of the state and making it an alluring investment destination.

SMATO said that the beautiful circumstances that surrounded Makinde’s new term would spur him to do more for Oyo people who massively gave him a resounding re-election against the odds.

He commended Makinde for his message of sustainability and making Oyo an hotspot to attract foregn investors, adding that only a goal oriented Governor like Makinde could achieve the greatness it so desired.

“On behalf of my family and the people of Surulere/Ogooluwa Fed Contituency, I congratulate Governor Makinde and his amiable and loyal Deputy, Barr. Bayo Lawal, on their second term in office.

“The Governorship election of March 18th testified to your undying and patriotic resolve to put the interest of the people before other primordial ones.

“I am impressed and encouraged by your call for a united and sustainble Oyo State going into to your second term in office. The call is germane because no society can develop in an atmosphere of disunity.

“I am quite confident that your re-election and assumption of office for a second term will pave way for you to do more for the people of Oyo in appreciation for their massive support in the re-election,” he stated, and wished Makinde a successful second term.
