PHOTOS: Captain Jacob names ICT centre after Saka Balogun, commissions other projects 

…As Monsurat, Wolekanle, Temi Adibi, Rainbow, Ogunlade, others grace event 

The lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North, South and Orire Federal Constituency, Hon. Jacob Ajao, has commissioned the last phase of the projects he facilitated to his constituency.

The projects commissioning meant to showcase the dividends of democracy was delivered to the constituents on Tuesday, 9th of May, 2023.

A modern I.C.T centre at Atala Primary School, Owode Ogbomoso, was commissioned and named after Dr. Saka Balogun.

Other projects that were commissioned also include Aaje Ikose Market, An Industrial Boreholes at Tewure, Ajinapa, Oke Ilewe, Oolo, Agabi, Oloka.

In attendance were Chief Dr Saka Balogun, Former  Chief of Staff to Oyo State Governor, Sen.Monsurat Sumonu, Former Oyo Central Senator, Hon.Akinwale Akinwole Wolekanle, Oyo North 2023 PDP Senatorial Candidate, Hon.Temilola Adibi, Former MHR and the current Director-General, Oyo State Agency for Signage and Advertisement (OYSAA), Hon.Adijat Rainbow, the Ogbomoso Central Chairperson. 

Also present include C.A.N Chairman, Chief Imam Parakoyi Central Mosque, Hon.Bode George, Hon. Ayorinde Lekan, Hon.Damilare Sunday, and other dignitaries.

While speaking, Chief Dr Saka Balogun, who appreciated Captain Jacob for his thoughtfulness, also lauded the naming of the center after him, saying it came as a surprise. 

He furthered stated that Hon. Ajao Jacob Adejumo has, no doubt, did his very best in representing the interest of his constituency and charged him to continue being a good Ambassador of Ogbomoso town.

Senator Monsurat, who also participated in the commissioning of the boreholes at Ajinapa in the Orire Local Government, commends Hon. Ajao Jacob Adejumo for his dedication to duty and refusal to use constituency projects for personal gain.

Expressing his gratitude, Hon.Ajao Jacob Adejumo, who spoke at Market Commissioning in Aaje Ikose, promised to continue doing his part to advance the constituency, the city, the state, and the country as a whole. 

He concluded by saying that the Multimillion Naira bridge going on at Yaku will be completed even after he left the office as the lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North, South and Orire Federal Constituency.
