LAUTECH alumni president, Onilede congratulates Makinde on 2nd term inauguration

The Alumni Association of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde, on his inauguration for a second term in office.

The president of the association, Onilede Solomon in his message of congratulations described the second mandate given to the Oyo State Governor by the people of his state as a validation of their trust and confidence in his leadership.

He, however, expressed confidence that Governor Seyi Makinde would use the new mandate to build on the admirable accomplishments he had made in the process of bringing Oyo State to enviable heights.

Onilede, who on Monday led some alumni executives to a Galla Night at the University of Ibadan International Conference Centre organized by the Governor, further hailed him for his accomplishments during his first term as the state’s governor in the areas of education, particularly at LAUTECH.

He said: “We have no doubt that your outstanding performance during your first term in office led to your re-election.

“Since you gave our institution sole ownership, which allowed us to deal with internal issues, the institution is honored to be associated with Your Excellency.

“And as the institution’s visitor, we are optimistic that this fresh mandate is another opportunity to build on the foundation of development and prosperity already laid by your Excellency.

“I pray Almighty God to continue to guide you and enrich you with more wisdom to accomplish the good work you started four years ago.”

“Once again, congratulations, Your Excellency!
