Encomium as Ayomiposi of Tiger Golf Club won with 67 net to commemorate BLA 60th birthday Golf celebration

Ayomiposi Ibrahim of Tiger Golf Golf Club won with 67 net as Abeokuta Capital city of Ogun State Stand-still for Basohun Ladipo Adegbite BLA 60th Birthday Golf Tournament and Celebration. 

Bashorun Ladipo Adegbite takes Yoruba traditions and the game of golf to another level in Abeokuta this weekend, for his 60th birthday celebration.

Over 200 strong golfers graced the beautiful Abeokuta Golf Club on Friday 5th of May, a cocktail party was organized to welcome golfers to the club and it was a night to remember.

The closing celebration of the event was the talking point of the whole show, Bashorun took golfers and prominent people in the town to a reception setup of Yoruba culture and tradition, the venue of the reception which look like a Yoruba drama scene of the 1970s,  the event full of Yoruba costumes, local dishes, music, dance and drinks.

Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III, in his speech loud the setup of the reception, praised the celebrant for being creative and for his efforts to revive the cultural and traditional values of Yorubaland, He asked him to sustain the beauty of the place. Alake also prayed for the celebrant and his family. 

The Celebrant in his vote of thanks appreciated the two paramount rulers, his darling daughter, the golfers that came from all over the country and other dignities, and friends and family for the support, love and prayers to make the event a success.

Speaking to journalists at the events, Otunba Yomi Ojo described the event as one of its kind and also lauded the celebrant for the mix of Yoruba cultural heritage and the game of golf, insisting that the golfers will remember the three days of entertaining packed events for a long time.

The events were attended by the two first-class obas of Ogun State, Alake of Egbeland Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III and Agura of Gbagura,Oba Saburee Babajide Isola Bakre, Jamolu Il, Captains of Industries, successful politicians and business moguls and friends and family.
