Gbajabiamila in attendance as Bayo Lawal hosts ex-deputy gov, PDP Secretary, Adekola, Bolarinwa, others to Iftar
Oyo Deputy Governor, Barrister Abdulraheem Adebayo Lawal on Wednesday hosted eminent personalities, politicians, business mogul, Muslim clerics to Ramadan breakfast in his palatial residence at Bashorun, Ibadan.
Among those hosted by the deputy governor include, former deputy governor of Oyo State, Engineer Hameed Gbadamosi, Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State, Hon Wasiu Adeleke, Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Youth and Sports, Hon Kazeem Bolarinwa.
Others include, full-time board member of Oyo State Housing Corporation who doubles as Waste Management Taskforce, Elder Ayoade Adekola, Alhaji Akeem Gbajabiamila from Project Scope, Personal Assistant to the state secretary of the PDP, Hon Hassan Abuyan, PDP chieftain, Otunba Yomi Ojo among other dignitaries who were in attendance.
Lawal usually host political, traditional and religious leaders including non-Muslims as well as other prominent and ordinary citizens to Ramadan breakfast at his residence which is in line with the lessons of the fasting period.
The guests commended Lawal for his generosity, humility, his open door policy and principle of identify with different strata of people in the society regardless of his or her status.
They prayed Almighty Allah will continue to bless him and his family as well as his principal, Governor Seyi Makinde and Oyo State.
