Comforter pays Thank-you visit to Wife of Oyo Deputy Governor on electoral victory

The House of Assembly-elect for Ibadan North constituency 1, Hon. Comforter Olajide has paid a Thank-you visit to the wife of Oyo Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs) Ajibola Lawal for her support in the March 18th governorship election.

Hon. Comforter, who visited her Bashorun home on Thursday, described her as a loving mother who has supported her throughout the campaign.

According to her, Mrs Lawal has consistently supported women, especially those in politics under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

She recounted how she provided her with a lot of support before the March 18 governorship election and how she made her won the election.

While presenting her with her certificate of return, Hon. Comforter disclosed that her visit is to personally thank her for her prayers and advice throughout the electioneering period.

She also expressed her gratitude for her warmth reception and her charitable act for other women in politics, notably widows and orphanages.

In her words, “I am here to thank our mother for her support throughout the election for the electoral success.

“I am very grateful for her counsel, intercession, warm welcome, and unwavering support in the Ibadan North Constituency I.”

The deputy governor’s wife, Mrs. Lawal, responded by congratulating her and wishing her well throughout her term in office.
