PHOTONEWS: LAUTECH alumni pays Makinde congratulatory visit
The alumni global President of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, Hon. Onilede Solomon has paid the Oyo Governor elect, Engineer Seyi Makinde, a congratulatory visit at his residence on Sunday.
Makinde, who is the incumbent governor was declared the winner of the governorship election held across Oyo state on Saturday, 18th March, 2023.
He was announced as the winner at about half past three o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday by the Oyo State Chief Collation officer, Professor Adebayo Bamire.
He said Engineer Seyi Makinde and his party, the People Democratic Party, PDP, won the election with a total votes of 563,756 to defeat his closest rival in a landslide, Senator Teslim Folarin of the All Progressives Congress APC, who polled 256,675votes while Accord governorship candidate, Chief Bayo Adelabu garnered 38,357.
On his entourage include the LAUTECH Dean of Students Affairs, Professor Azeem Ige; SA to Governor Makinde on project, Oluwaseun Laurel; Mr Success, Mr Jass, among others.
