Onigbope of Igbope congratulates Makinde on re-election

Following the reelection of Engr. Seyi Makinde as Oyo state Governor for second term, the Onigbope of Igbope land, Orelope Local Government, Oba (Dr.) Moses Olawale Oyetola, has felicitated with him on his landslide victory.

Oba Oyetola Ilufemiloye 1, in a statement, charged Makinde to see his re-election as another task and call to do more so that people of Oyo State can continue to enjoy dividends of democracy.

He maintained that Makinde’s performances in his first term showed he has not exempted himself from the political history of the Pace-setter state, saying the Governor has melted himself in the hearts of residents through his people-oriented policies.

“Gov. Seyi Makinde has changed the status quo of governance, fostered unity, and rekindled hope for the prosperity of the State and restored people’s trust in governance and leadership thus, lending credence to the viability of Omituntun 2.0 – qualifying him in winning his second term election,” he said. 

In the same vein, one of the proteges of Igbopeland, Olagbemiro Joshua Olayemi popularly known as Mandela also congratulated Makinde on his reelection.

“Congratulations to Gov. Makinde! Your untainted commitment to democracy, and the determination you brought have greatly deepening the democratic governance in our country.

Mandela further prayed that God guide and guard His Excellency aright in delivering on his campaign promises to the good people of Oyo State.
