Ido LG Chairman, Adeojo, Donates N1.5m To Fasttrack Completion Of Mosoke Bridge At Apete 

…swears in four Supervisors, Special Assistants

…finances 10 wards to mobilize voters for Makinde’s re-election

The Executive Chairman of Ido Local government area of Oyo State, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, has donated a sum of N1.5m towards the completion of a community bridge located at Mosoke Oniyanrin Estate, Apete area of the state. 

While presenting the cheque to the General Chairman of the Mosoke Oniyanrin Estate Landlords Association, Apete, Ibadan, Chief Mukaila Adisa, the Council Boss noted that the project is important as it tends to promote the economic growth and lives of the residents of the community upon completion.

Adeojo explained that the economic and social benefits of the bridge would equally boost commercial activities in the area and enhance economic activities between the community and its neighbours.

He, however, vowed that he would remain commited to improving the lives of the people of the council, thereby, complementing the efforts of the state governor at bringing dividends of democracy to the people of the grassroots.

He said: “I want to, first of all, appreciate all of us here today and let us know that I am spurred to contribute my own quota to the completion of this project for many reasons.  

“Personally, I know the importance of the project to this community and feel there is a need to intervene to let people feel the impact of government at the grassroots level.

“Resident of this community have passed through pains before now and it is a thing of joy for me that it is during my time as the LG Council chairman that a project like this will be completed. So, I am glad to be part of the success story.”

Similarly, the Council Boss earlier swore in two Supervisors and Special Assistants into the Ido Local Government Executive Council at the Council’s Headquarters.

In addition, Adeojo mobilised all the ten wards in the Council with substantial amount of money to mobilise support and harvest voters for the reelection of Governor Makinde and other PDP House of Assembly candidates in the forthcoming election.
