Bankole pledges support for Makinde, Oriire PDP Assembly candidate

Former Oriire Local Government Chairman, Hon. Adekunle Bankole has reiterated his commitment to strongly mobilize support for the re-election of Governor Seyi Makinde and the House of Assembly candidate for Oriire State Constituency in the up in the upcoming March 11 governorship election.

The residents of Oriire are eager for change, according to Bankole, who stated as much in a statement obtained by MOUTHPIECE NGR on Saturday.

This is because the current lawmaker serving as their representative has a lackluster attitude and has caused the constituency to experience epileptic leadership.

He claimed that without the emergence of Governor Seyi Makinde, who has had a significant positive impact on the development of their constituency and the Ogbomoso zone as a whole in the last three and half years, while also caring about the welfare of the people of Oyo state, the situation would have been much worse.

Bankole praised Makinde’s administration, scoring it high, and declared that he’s convinced beyond reasonable doubt that if Governor Seyi Makinde is re-elected, he would make the state more governable for all.

He urged the people of Oriire to support both Governor Makinde and the House of Assembly candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. Ogundele Johnson Akintola, saying their support would further advance the Orire Local government.

He equally appealed to the people of the constituency to come on board the moving train of “GSM Lekansi” and contribute with their votes to put Oyo in the hands of a competent leader.
