“Why we called off strike”, ASUU President explains

The President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities has on Sunday disclosed the rationale behind their decision to suspend the eight month strike action.

He made the revelation during an interview session on Channels Television which was monitored by MOUTHPIECE NGR.

He said: “We called off the strike due to the court injunction, appeals from students, parents, and the intervention of the Speaker of the House of Repsenatatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, not because issues have been addressed, says ASUU President Emmanuel Osodeke.
