2023: My membership with PDP still intact and stand as rock of Gibraltar— Hon. Sunday Anthony Babatunde

Hon Sunday Anthony Babatunde has disassociated from the purported candidates’ list released by INEC last week which displayed his name under NNPP platform as candidate for Ibadan South East Constituency 2.

In a press statement personally signed by him and made available to MOUTHPIECE NGR through his Director of Media and Publicity, Kehinde Gbadeyanka, frowned at the heinous act by the opponent party and described the step as a mean to draw people’s attention to their political inferiority and discombobulation.

“My attention has been drawn to the publication of my name as candidate for Ibadan South East Constituency 2 under NNPP platform. I am using the medium to urge the people of Ibadan South East and my teeming followers that I remain in PDP and my support for the second coming of H.E Engr. Seyi Makinde and all PDP candidates remain intact and active. And for the avoidance of doubt, my name remain Sunday Anthony Babatunde.”

“PDP is me and vice versa, my membership with PDP stand like rock of Gibraltar and nothing can change it. Very soon, we shall join the campaign train as soon as it take off and give our supports in all ramifications”

“I have never in any time obtain, or fill any political form nor form alliance with any political party aside PDP. 

“I am calling on INEC to retract the inglorious publication as I believe it’s purely misconception and NNPP also should come out and clear the air on the allegation”
