PHOTOS: Atiku Abubakar Loses Aide

Barr. Abdulahi Nyako, the private secretary to Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party and former vice president of Nigeria, has passed away. 

Barr. Nyako passed away on Thursday early in the morning. 

He was a lawyer who had been the former Vice President’s mentor and longtime associate. 

“Atiku said Abdullahi was more than an aide to me; he was a family to me in every meaning of the term in a statement signed by his media adviser, Paul Ibe.

He gave me diligent and devoted service. He will be sorely missed.”
