Oyo residents hail govt, OYSROMA chairman for quick intervention on death trap road

Governor Seyi Makinde has received emotional thanks from the people of Oyo town for listening to their pleas and responding quickly to the federal road in Oyo, which has claimed the lives of more than 7 persons in the last two weeks. 

MOUTHPIECE NGR understands that a lot of fuel tankers and trailers used to transport goods pass through the state hospital road, which is a very important and busy federal road in Oyo. 

It was gathered that many accidents have occurred both during the day and at night due to the bad roads terrible condition. 

After the Federal Agency in charge of Federal Roads declined to step in and the residents of Oyo town had to scream for assistance, OYSROMA Chairman Hon. Busoye Ogunlade and his team arrived at the request of Governor Seyi Makinde to inspect the road and determine how it could be improved to reduce the likelihood of accidents. 

It’s a moment of excitement to see that work has started on the road and it’s already getting better, according to some of the statements found on the agency’s verified Facebook page. 

“Now that there are fewer dangers or accidents, Oyo residents and other drivers can travel in peace. The government of Oyo State has our gratitude”, a resident added.
