Insecurity: soludo unveils identity of unknown gunmen in South-East
Anambra State government on Sunday said most of those they have caught for criminals activities in the state are igbo..
The Governor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo made the statement during an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today on Sunday. saying Anambra’s wealth has made it the target of kidnappers.
The statement read: “They are not unknown gunmen, they are unknown to the extent that maybe are not caught immediately.
“Let me be clear about it: 100% of the people we have caught are Igbo. Nobody is invading from somewhere. It is 100% Igbo on Igbo.
“Anambra receives its share of influx of Igbo from other South-East States and other parts of Nigeria. The first set of people we caught are Igbos from the South-East States and not from Anambra (State).
“But as we went on, we discovered that a whole lot of the youth are joining them, we are dealing with them equally,” Soludo said.
