Lao, a community near Airport road in the Ilorin West local government Area of Kwara State has banned Okada riders from operating  in their community over high charges

The community said high charges by the operator of Okada riders have created serious hardship for the people of the community.

A resident of the community who spoke with TROVE ONLINE MEDIA believes that all drops within the community should be fifty naira N50 due to the size of the community.

As we appreciate the authorities of the community for their timely intervention in the situation, and for maintaining peace in the area, we plead with the president of the community Okada riders to consider the less privileged masses and stand with the community leaders for peace and love to reign…He said

The community authority has directed the president of the Okada operators in the community to urgently react to the development but at the time of filling this report no response from the leadership of the Okada riders.
