OYSROMA, Engineers test effectiveness of Cold Asphalt on roads

Hon. Busoye Ogunlade, Chairman of the Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency (OYSROMA), and some Engineers on Wednesday decided to test the effectiveness of Cold Asphalt on roads. 

MOUTHPIECE NGR understands that the decision was made in an effort to find the most effective techniques to repair all potholes on Oyo state’s roadways. 

While speaking, Ogunlade said the agency chose the potholes at Anfaani Roundabout, Ring Road as their area of test because the engineers showed how cold asphalt can be utilized to fix pothole problems on roadways.

“We will continue to implore residents of Oyo state to exercise patience as we are making sure we do the most effective jobs because unfavorable weather conditions can affect asphalts and the pothole filling process.”
