Oyo student leaders visit Oke Legacy, ALGON, NULGE members in Abuja

The students leaders across Oyo State has on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Member, Oyo Local Government Service Committee, Hon. John Adisa Oke LEGACY and some members of ALGON and NULGE.

Mouthpiece NGR understands that Oke LEGACY and other ALGON, NULGE members received the students leaders at the International Conference Centre in Abuja during a 3-day workshop they attended.

The workshop themed; “The Imperativeness of The Local Government System as Agent of Democractic Consolidation and Grassroots Development in Nigeria: Sustainability Approach was attended across the country with delegates from Oyo State LGSC, ALGON and NULGE.

Recall that all students leaders across tertiary institutions have converged in Abuja since Sunday to conduct and participate in NANS convention.

In his words, Oke LEGACY commended the students leaders from Oyo State for being good ambassadors and representing the rest of students well at the convention.

“We’ve made it upon ourselves to pay this courtesy visit after knowing you’re also in the Capital city to represent Oyo State at 3-day Local Government workshop.”- Students’ representative.

LEGACY further implored them to maintain decorum in all their activities and never engage in acts that would damage the reputation of Oyo State as a Pacesetter figure it known to be.

The SA to Governor Seyi Makinde on Students Matter; Victor Olojede was among other notable stakeholder who received the students.
