S’ African court sentences 3 ‘Boko Haram’ members to 384 years jail

Three persons of a gang who operated under the appellation of “Boko Haram” have been sent to prison in South Africa.

MOUTHPIECE NGR observes that thousands of lives have been lost to Boko Haram in Nigeria.

It is also observed that Boko Haram has been declared a terrorist organization in Nigeria, and has displaced millions of people from their comfort zones.

Those convicted are Ndou Lukase Rembuluwani and Ndou Ben (both 29) and Khoza Ngobeni Small (28).

The High Court (Limpopo Division) in Polokwane has sent them to combined 384-year imprisonment.

They have been found guilty of crimes they involved in between September and October 2017 around Seshego and Westenburg.

The charges among others are murder, attempted murder, possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition, and housebreaking with the intention to rob.

Others are theft, robberies and malicious damage to property, The Citizen reported.

The three of them were also convicted for violating immigration laws for illegally being in South Africa.

The gang of the convicted persons has declared themselves “Boko Haram” and unleashed terror on communities in the Polokwane municipality.

They launched attack on teachers at their residence in Westenburg and illegally went away with people’s laptops, television sets and phones on October 9, 2017

The police apprehended the trio, a few days later during an operation in Seshego.
