Sowore praises lawyer for appearing in court in traditional attire

The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has given kudos to the Nigerian lawyer who appeared in court in traditional attire.

MOUTHPIECE NGR had reported that there was drama at the Supreme Court, Thursday when Malcom Omoirhobo, a Lagos Based Human Rights Lawyer, stormed the court premises in full traditional attire of an “Olokun priest”

The lawyer while addressing newsmen at the court premises revealed that his decision came following the earlier pronouncement of the court that the people of the country have rights to express their sense of worship in schools and in courts through style of dressing.

The publisher of Sahara Reporters, Sowore, gave kudos to the lawyer, reaffirming the need for legal practitioners to appear in dresses that are in accordance with the Nigerian culture.

Sowore via a post on his social media handle posited, “I totally support and commend Barrister Malcom Omoirhobo over the regalia he wore to the Supreme Court today.

“Our lawyers also need to get rid of the White Man’s wigs and wear attires traditional to our environment”
