Professor Soyinka dies at 85

Femi Soyinka, a Professor of Dermatology, Venereology and clinical Immunology, has died at the age of 85.

Ayodele Soyinka, the son of the deceased, via a statement, on Tuesday, said that his father died on Tuesday in Kukumada Village, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The University of Heidelberg trained medical doctor is a younger sibling to Nobel laureate Prof. Wole Soyinka.

The late university don was former chief medical director, faculty of health sciences at the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife.

The professor has championed several international researches in his area of specialization.

The family would announce burial arrangements at a later date.
