Pastor Tunde Bakare scores zero votes, after picking N100m forms, boasting of becoming President

Pastor Tunde Bakare, a presidential aspirant of the APC has got zero votes in the presidential primary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at the Eagle Square, Abuja.

Unlike some of his colleagues who were also aspiring for the highest political seat, the pastor did not travel around to meet and consult with party delegates and stakeholders in their various states.

He obtained the N100m presidential forms, boasted that he would win the presidential ticket of the party, and become the 16th president of Nigeria.

The cleric has said God had promised him that he would succeed President Buhari in 2023.

But, the former vice presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) did not even get one vote in the presidential contest, which took place at the Eagles Square, Abuja, on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, leaving his dream unfulfilled.

While speaking at the national convention on Tuesday night Bakare said, “I respect every aspirant here, including Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“But I am not stepping down for anyone.

“I am here by the grace of God to step up and contest to become the 16th president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

MOUTHPIECE NGR had reported that Tinubu has been declared the winner of the presidential primary of the APC, at the Eagle Square, Abuja.

Tinubu has clinched the presidential ticket garnering over half of the total votes.

It was gathered that about 2,322 delegates from across the federation have registered their presence at the Eagles Square to elect the presidential candidate of the party.
