Nnamdi Kanu reacts to rejection of bail, sends message to South-East

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Tuesday, reacted to the judgment of the Abuja Federal High Court led by Justice Binta Nyako.

MOUTHPIECE NGR had earlier reported that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has lost the move to regain freedom.

Justice Binta Nyako-led Abuja Federal High Court has rejected his application requesting to grant him bail.

Kanu said Justice Nyako’s decision that denied him bail was ‘expected’ by him.

While expressing himself after the court session, the embattled IPOB leader told the people of the south eastern region to “remain calm” and make sure the region is peaceful.

He said: “It is what we expect. But I want our people to be very calm. I want Biafranland to be calm, calm, and very peaceful. We are fighting to defend our people, not to kill them.

“We are fighting to defend them, that’s why I’m here. And we will continue to do so until we get victory.”
