PHOTOS: Makinde receives Atiku in Ibadan 

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde received former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who is an aspirant for the 2023 presidential election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Mouthpiece NGR gathered that they met met at the Carlton Gate Hotel, Agodi Ibadan early Sunday morning to discuss the state of things in the party and the forthcoming presidential primaries fixed for May 28 and 29 in FCT, Abuja.

Media reports had earlier indicated that Makinde shunned the former Vice President during the latter’s visit to Ibadan to meet with national delegates of the party in a bid to oil his push for the party’s ticket at the convention.

Makinde, who was said to be in jovial mood told the former Vice President that he was unavoidably absent on Saturday while the ex-VP entered town.
