John Adisa-Oke condoles with Ogbomoso Muslim community over Sheikh Ashafa Sanusi’s death

The Commissioner, Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, John Adisa-Oke Ph.D has condoled with the Muslim community in Ogbomoso over the death of Chief Imam of Ogbomosoland, Alhaji Sheikh Asafa Sanusi Adegboyega, who passed away early this morning.

Oke sent his condolence to the family and Muslims in a statement signed and made available to Mouthpiece NGR.

The statement reads in part: “The Commissioner, Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, John Adisa-Oke Ph.D sends his condolences to the Muslim community in Ogbomoso and Nigeria at large over the demise of Chief Imam of Ogbomoso land, Alhaji Sheikh Asafa Sanusi Adegboyega, who passed away early this morning.

“Oke prays that God will comfort his family while commending his contributions to the development of Ogbomoso and Oyo State.”

The Commissioner said the late Imam used his position to foster peace and help the downtrodden in the society.

“He was a gentle soul and always prayed for progress in Oyo State and Nigeria in general. He was an agent of peaceful coexistence and accommodating.

“He would be greatly missed.

“May Allah forgives him and grants him Aljannah Firdaus aamin”, he prayed.
