Just In: Makinde commissions Ibadan airport’s lounge as Air Peace commence operations 

Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde is set to commission the Protocol Lounge at the Alakia Airport in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital today, Tuesday; 17th August 2021.

The commission of the lounge is part of the current Oyo administration’s determination to uplift the standard of Ibadan Airport, Oyo State.

Recall that governor Makinde facilitated the commencement of flights from Ibadan by Air Peace Airlines.

The Airpeace airline chose to add the Ibadan route after receiving “encouragements” from Governor Seyi Makinde’s government. According to reports, the airline has already halted ticket sales at all of its locations.

Mouthpiece NGR gathered that flights from Abuja to Ibadan and back begins today, August 17, 2021.

According to a member of Seyi Makinde’s administration, the function began few minutes ago with the Governor receiving the inaugural flight of Air Peace Airlines.

Those present include Oyo state Deputy Governor, Rauf Olaniyan, Speaker Oyo House of Assembly, Rt Hon Debo Ogundoyin, Secretary to the State Government, Olubamiwo Adeosun, Chief of Staff, Hon Segun Ogunwuyi, Director -General Bureau of Public Procurement, Hon Commissioner for Public Works and Infrastructure, Professor Kehinde Sangodoyin and Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government Area were among the protocols at the official commission of the protocol lounge and Airpeace Inaugural flight in Ibadan.
