JUST IN: FG partners UNDP to provide jobs for 20,000 youths, application starts Tuesday

The federal government has partnered with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to provide jobs for 20,000 skilled young Nigerian graduates tagged Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme.

Applications will open for the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme, which aims to place 20,000 skilled young Nigerian graduates (under the age of 30) into jobs in private and public sector organizations around the country. (Open to applicants from every part of Nigeria!)

The jobs will last for 12 months, will be fully-paid, and will seek to help prepare qualifying recent graduates for their future careers and work environments.

Goals include improving employability, building useful career and leadership skills in young graduates, and connecting employers and potential employees.

According to presidential aide, Tolu Ohunlesi, “The aim of the Nigerian Jubilee Fellows Programme is to place 20,00p highly skilled Nigerian youths jn a private and public sector organization annually across the country.

This part of a 12-month fully paid programmes designed to enhance young Nigerian’s employability, build leadership competencies and transfer on-the-job skills.”

The programme is a Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) Initiative supported by the United Nations Development Programme UNDP in Nigeria.
