Ogbomoso Councilors’ Forum lauds Makinde over training programme

The Ogbomoso Councilors’ Forum has expressed their profound gratitude to the executive governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde for organizing 3-day training program for all 351 councillors and 33 clerks of Local Government Legislative Councils in the state.

A statement by OCF spokesperson, said “Engr. Seyi Makinde has successfully made a masterpiece out of Oyo State. He’s thoughtful to have masterminded such a impactful program which is first of its kind. We would harness on the knowledge equipped with from the program to bring about intended objectives of the program.

“His exemplary leadership qualities have continued to redefine governance and leadership in the state and this has led to the birth of the many laudable projects that has been witnessed in the state.”

The Ogbomoso Councilors’ Forum ably led by the Chairman, Mr. Alabi olasunkanmi Amos also thanked the Special Adviser to Governor on legislative matter, Hon Samuel Adejumobi Ademola, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters for initiating the program to update them on the application of the Four Point Service Agenda of the Makinde administration at the grassroots.


“We appreciate Special Adviser to Governor on legislative matter, Hon Samuel Adejumobi Ademola, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters for their firm resolve to creating a better reality at grassroot level. As advised, we would represent the interest of our various communities and key into four pillars of this administration.

“On a final note, we assure our Governor, SA on legislative matter to work collectively with our Chairmen to bring about a paradigm shift that would engender a workable strategic development plan that is inclusive, informative, innovative and implementation-oriented in consonance with Governor Makinde’s mantra of education, health, security and economic expansion.

Mouthpiece NGR recall that the Oyo state Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters had organized a 3-day training program which centred on good governance at the local government levels and effective replication of the Four Point Service Agenda of the ‘Seyi Makinde administration and was flagged off at the World Lilies Event Centre, Apata, Ibadan.
