Akinlayo Foundation offers free JAMB registration to 130 candidates in Ekiti North Constituency 2

Kolawole Akinlayo Foundation has purchased 130 JAMB (tertiary matriculation examinations) forms for distribution free to indigent candidates in the constituency.

The chairman of the foundation, Kolawole Akinlayo told our correspondent on Wednesday in Ikosu Ekiti that the forms would be given to 130 less privileged students whose parents could not afford to buy the JAMB forms for the 2021/2022 season.

He explained that students in Moba, Ido-Osi and Ilejemeje would benefit from the gesture.

According to him, the offer is the second phase of the scheme which commenced last year during the lockdown and Yuletide.

Mr. Akinlayo said that apart from the free JAMB registration, women in the constituency should be expecting same gesture in months to come.

“The scheme is expected to assist students to realise their dreams and cushion the financial burden of parents that cannot afford the exams fee.

“Education, which is the life wire for the development of any society, requires the contribution of wealthy individuals for the nation to move forward,” he said.
