Minister distributes wheelbarrow, cutlasses as he kick off 774,000 jobs

The Minister of State for Labour & Employment, Festus Keyamo (SAN) has launched the Special Public Works Programme (774,000) jobs in his Local Government Area (Uvwie LGA) in Delta State.

Mouthpiece NGR gathered that the Sunday event was not without its drama as the Minister gave out cutlasses and wheelbarrow, one of which he pushed around to the amusement of the waiting crowd.

Festus Keyamo took to his social media page and posted, “As part of my activities last week, I travelled to Delta State to launch the Special Public Works Programme (774,000) jobs in my own Local Government Area (Uvwie LGA).”

Reactions trail Social Media as Keyamo’s act of generosity has provoked lots of comment.
