BREAKING: Ibadan Poly staff embark on indefinite strike

The Staff Unions of The Polytechnic Ibadan at its congress today have declared an ndefinite strike. 

Mouthpiece NGR reports that the teaching and the non-teaching staff of the institution have been at loggerheads with Oyo State Government over the implementation of new national minimum wage.

An insider who spoke to this medium on the development said that the policy of Plantinum consulting firm hired by Governor Seyi Makinde to oversee the finances of the institutions has been the cause of the strike.
