Makinde celebrates mum’s posthumous birthday, holds special prayers (Photos)
Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on Saturday, held special prayers to celebrate the 81st posthumous birthday of his late mum, Madam Abigail Omojolagbe Makinde.
it’ll be recalled that the Governor’s mum, Mama Makinde died in October few weeks to her birthday .
In his statement, the governor stated that his late mum lives on in “our hearts and his legacy of discipline and generosity.”
“This morning, we held prayers to mark what would have been my mother-Madam Abigail Omojolagbe Makinde’s 81st birthday.
“Mama lives on in our hearts and in the legacy of discipline, kindness and generosity she taught us. May her soul continue to rest in peace,” the governor said.
