Just In: 30 killed, scores injured as truck rams into market (Photo)
No fewer than 30 persons have been reportedly killed as a truck crashed into a market at Ibaka in Akungba Akoko, Akoko South-West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Mouthpiece NGR gathered that the incident occurred on Saturday evening.
The trailer, which was loaded with bags of rice, had a brake failure that resulted it to ram into the market crushing the victims.
An eyewitness said, “The accident occurred about 7.30pm, when the trailer loaded with bags of rice rammed into the stalls in the market.
