EndSARS protester gets birthday surprise from wizkid

Several award-winning Nigerian singer, Wizkid ”Ayo” Balogun, sent a surprise birthday message to Rinu Oduala, a frontline protester during the #EndSARS protest which rocked the earlier weeks in October and a member of the Lagos panel.

Rinu clocked a new age on Sunday, November 1, 2020 and many of her admirers, friends, family, follower and celebrities as well, took to social media to celebrate her.

The young lady had been one of the actively vocal members of protesters who were on the streets of Lagos, particularly the State House of Assembly in Alausa and she garnered popularity for her vigour, courage and determination to see the protest through, even amidst intimidation and assault by security personnel.

Wizkid decided to celebrate Rinu on her special day.

The Starboy Entertainment CEO changed his Twitter AVI (display picture) to a photograph of Rinu, and when she noticed, and brought her followers’ attention to it, Wizkid then sent a birthday message to her.

“Happy birthday Queen. Blessings and love always! God bless strong woman !”, he wrote.
