Some congregation will not be allowed to enter the mosque for prayers – unilorin chief Imam says

The chief Imam, university of Ilorin, Professor Nasir Abdus Salam, has complained about the negligence of the congregation to comply with the covid-19 safety measures.

The Chief imman made the announcement Immediately the jum’ah service was concluded.

He said about two-thirds of the congregation didn’t comply with covid-19 safety precautions.

He urged them to put on their face mask always and whoever failed to follow the protocol being lay down would be denied the entrance into the central mosque next time as it was being done when the mosque was re-opened for jum’ah service after the lockdown relaxation.

The Chief Imam further said the use of face mask would be reinforced and that covid-19 is real.
