BREAKING: Card readers destroyed as fire guts Ondo headquarters

Information reaching Mouthpiece NGR news room says the headquarters of the National Electoral commission (INEC) in Akure is currently on fire.

It was learnt that the container housing the smart card readers expected to be used for the October 10 Governorship election in the state has been seriously damaged by the fire.

The fire is suspected to be caused by an electric spark within the container.

Mouthpiece NGR further learnt that fire fighters have been called for appropriate intervention.
