John Oke congratulates Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir celebration

Commissioner, Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, Hon. John Adisa Oke has felicitated with Muslims faithful on the commemoration of the Eid-el-Kabir.

In a special Sallah message made available to Mouthpiece NGR on Friday, the commissioner calls on Muslims to always emulate the virtue of Prophet Muhammad which includes sacrifice, obedience, love for others and peaceful coexistence.

According to Oke, Prophet Muhammad preached and lived for peace which should be  exhibited by every Muslim particularly in a diverse society such as Oyo and Nigeria at large.

“Eid-el-Kabir should be an occasion for sober reflections and commitment to ideals that would enhance peace and prosperity of our dear state and the Country as a whole.

Just like he urged Nigerians irrespective of their religion beliefs to use the period of Eid-el-Kabir celebrations to pray for an end to Covid-19 pandemic, he equally tasked them to maintain all precautionary measures put in place by Oyo State Government.

He concluded by praying to Allah to accept everyone good deeds, forgive their transgressions and ease the suffering of all people around the globe.
