NYSC member test positive for coronavirus

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC confirmed on Monday evening that Ondo State now has another case of Covid-19.
The new case brings the total number of confirmed cases in Ondo State to 3.”
The patient is a Medical Doctor presently undergoing his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at the Army Clinic, Owena Barracks.
A statement released by Donald Ojogo, the state information commissioner added that the young corps member had attended to the first index case while he was under observation at the barracks.
The NCDC which confirmed the third case in Ondo this evening posted on it’s Twitter handle thus:
“twenty new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria this evening as follows:
13 in Lagos
2 in Edo
2 in Kano
2 in Ogun
1 in Ondo
As at 09:50 pm 13th April there are 343 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 91 have been discharged with 10 deaths. No of states with confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Nigeria is 19.
Meanwhile the Governor of the state, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu has, after the publication, explained that the infected person is not a current National Youths Service Corps as stated online. 
Akeredolu said “individual was an ex corps member that served in the hospital where the index case was identified was identified and was retained.
