Unification rally: Top PDP chieftain ‘infected’, everyone at rally should isolate themselves— Kemi Olunloyo

United States of America, USA, trained clinical pharmacist and controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has warned that anyone who attended the unification rally of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Ibadan, the State capital on Wednesday should be self isolated.
Olunloyo, the daughter of former Oyo governor, Dr. Victor Olunloyo, stated this in a series of tweet on her official twitter account in the early hours on Sunday.
She stated further that this is necessary to prevent the spread of the virus and ensure contact tracing because an high ranking member of the PDP who attended the rally is now an ‘Abuja case’ because the ‘political figure’ was exposed to it abroad.
In her tweet, she wrote, “#BREAKING @OfficialPDPNig one of your political members was exposed to #Coronavirus ABROAD. The member is now sick and an Abuja case. This high profile person needs to let @NCDCgov know so that they can do contact tracing. My subject travelled to a PDP event in Ibadan #COVID19.
“Anyone at the @OfficialPDPNig event in Ibadan including the governor should immediately isolated. The “political figure” is elderly and travels to Europe a lot. #selfisolating #selfquarantine is vital for anyone who attended. This MUST be taken serious”.
Olunloyo’s claim was made few hours after the governor of the state confirmed the first case of coronavirus in the state bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 27 in the state.
