EXCLUSIVE: Commissioners, others in fear as Makinde, Davido test positive (Photos) (Video)

Immediately Governor Seyi Makinde announced his test result on his verified twitter handle on Monday evening, fear and anxiety has gripped some commissioners, aides, task force members, others over what may likely be their status.
Recall Mouthpiece NGR had few days ago reported how Governor Makinde played host to a Nigerian popular musician, Davido whose test result including members of his family came back positive to Coronavirus.
Davido and Makinde were in close contact during the visit and obviously some commissioners, aides, task force members who attended Davido’s party.
Coronavirus, a new respiratory virus is spreading fast in some places around the world. Close to 413,467 people are known to be infected (March 27), Mouthpiece NGR learnt.
Governor Makinde tweeted “I just received my Covid-19 confirmation test result. It’s POSITIVE. I’m asymptomatic and will continue to self-isolate.
“I’ve designated professor Temitope Alonge, former chief medical Director of the university college, Ibadan, as the head of Covid-19 team task force while I recover fully. Please continue to comply with all the directives from the Covid-19 task force. Stay home. Stay safe.”
Mixed feelings and reactions as continued to trail on social media following the outcome of the test result of the Governor which tested POSITIVE.
Some said the governor might have contacted the disease when he received Davido or after he attended NEC meeting in Abuja. And it may be traced to the meeting with UCH team.
Some were unsympathetic about the governor’s predicament and continue to pass a blame game for holding PDP Southwest unification rally in Ibadan and not taking the issue of the deadly disease very serious until the state recorded first case.
Investigations by Mouthpiece NGR revealed that the governor since 9days ago have been avoiding people sensing he’s infected which apparently made him to be off office.
A source had told Mouthpiece NGR on Thursday before the official announcement that the governor was in isolation and reason he hasn’t been up on TV.
Our source further revealed that the governor was not in office the day he sacked his special assistant on media, Adigun Ibadan, that a call was only put through to the SSG, to terminate his appointment.
From all indications, some commissioners, aides and members of Covid-19 task force may likely to have contacted the disease and asymptomatic. Except those who didn’t show up at Davido’s party.
In the first test result that confirmed the status of Davido’s wife, Chioma, POSITIVE, his husband was tested negative until yesterday the result came back positive.
All aides of the governor should submit themselves for screening as part of preventive measures to contain the spread of the epidemic, “our source added.
