SHOCKING: LAUTECH awards another student less than Aisha CGPA

Rumpus in Ladoke Akintola University of Technology as management of the institution awarded one Abdulkareem Sherif Ayomide as overall best student for the 2018/19 academic session.

Ayomide who is currently a 200 level student from the faculty of agricultural sciences was unveiled on Thursday as 2018/2019 academic scholar with 4.89 CGPA during matriculation program for fresh students.

However, a student of Nursing department simply identified as Aisha from faculty of medical sciences had a cumulative grade of 4.94 leading as the overall best students for the set.

Reacting to the issue, a 200 level student who pleaded anonymity said the management is not fair enough giving the opportunity to someone that scored below Aisha CGPA.

Meanwhile a source told Mouthpiece NGR that the department of nursing may have failed to submit result list of their students before picking the over all best student.

Mouthpiece NGR reports the institution would sponsor over all best student on scholarship till graduation.

Aisha sympathizers are currently making efforts to ensure she’s crowned as the best overall best student and enjoy the benefit.

It was gathered that the student has issued complaint at the Dean of affairs office and also forwarded a letter to the Vice Chancellor.

At the time of filling this report, efforts to speak with Aisha is proved abortive as calls were not picked nor returned.
