PHOTONEWS: Book presentation in honor of LAUTECH don, Tanimowo

An erudite scholar, Prof Nurain Bolanle Tanimowo on Thursday launched his book presentation at the school venue, Afolabi Hall. 
The book, titled “Planning and Management of sustainable infrastructure development in Nigeria” which is an episode of 43 chapters is based on in depth research by greatest authors who are seasoned scholars to assist in infrastructure planning, management and sustainable development goal. 
Speaking at the event, the Vice Chancellor ably represented by Prof Oladosu said the book will provide a lot of grant to the university and urged everyone to get the book. 
He congratulated Tanimowo for the wonderful presentation and noted that everyone will continue to benefit from the wealth of his knowledge. 
The Dean of the faculty of environmental  sciences in his own speech described Prof Tanimowo as an erudite and seasoned scholar whose wealth of knowledge will continue to benefit everyone. 
Dr Ibrahim Rabiu, the chief editor of the book maintained that Prof Tanimowo has distinguished himself as a university administrator, scholar and professional. 
“He’s known globally in the prestigious town planning profession with specialize area of transportation in particular and in this environment as a whole”
“As a matter of fact, posterity will not forget so soon the administrative dexterity of Professor Tanimowo as a former Head of department of Urban and Regional planning and erstwhile Dean of faculty Environmental sciences, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso.”
“As you will disengage from active service of LAUTECH, this book planning and management of sustainable infrastructure development will no doubt remain with us as an  enduring legacy. It will also go with you as a slandering remembrance”. 
 The event had in attendance Prof Oladosu rep VC, Dr Kayode Ogunleye Registrar, Prof A.M.O Atolagbe, Dean faculty of environmental sciences, Prof Lateef Agbaje, Director Nanotechnology, Prof Uthman kabir, Provost Emmanuel Alayande College of Education.
