Management of the Polytechnic Ibadan has approved an unexpected mid semester break for the students of the Polytechnic community.
This was made available to the public through a press release and SMS message sent to students signed by Modupe Fawale, the school registrar.
MouthpieceNG earlier reported that the school management ordered the immediate suspension of the students activities following an unending fight between students of engineering and business studies during the SUG Cup which led to riot and causing heavy tension in the Polytechnic community.
In a statement signed and released by the school registrar, it read that “The management has approved mid semester break from Thursday, 4th April, 2019 to Wednesday, 10th April, 2019. Students are to vacate the halls of residence immediately.
